Newcastle’s Leading Sports Massage Clinic

Sports Massage therapists now play a major role in sports medicine.

Chiropractic Plus provides sports massage to several national and international sporting teams including the Newcastle Knights, the Wallabies Rugby Union Team and members of the Australian Netball team and Knights WNRL team.

 

We are also responsible for the treatment of several of Australia’s elite triathletes, track and field athletes and gymnasts. All of our Newcastle Massage Therapists have been trained in sports massage and have extensive experience providing this type of massage treatment.

Sports Massage offers benefits for all kinds of athletes, from elite triathletes, swimmers, cyclists and footballers, to recreational golfers and joggers, and weekend soccer warriors. Sports massage is generally a firmer massage that works specifically with sporting injuries and ailments.

Most of our clients are active people who come in for treatment to recover from training sessions or competition, or when they have sustained an injury during sport.

Whether it’s a tennis elbow or hamstring strain, a corked thigh, twisted ankle or shin splints, sports massage provides relief from discomfort and aids rehabilitation and recovery.
